8. Brad Blakeman is not a "great" lawyer. He's not even a good lawyer.

And he's not a Constitutional lawyer.

He graduated from a bottom feeding law school, Touro, which US News ranks in its 146-192 category (meaning that there are anywhere from 145 to 191 schools ranked higher).

He is an "adjunct" professor at Georgetown, but has no publications listed in his bio and the list of courses he has taught do not include any in constitutional law.

He labels himself "Hon" even though his position in the Bush White House was, and I'm not making this up, "Deputy Assistant to the President for Appointments and Scheduling, Vetting and Research, Correspondence and Surrogate Scheduling."

His assertion that the Articles are "defective on their face" is itself a statement that is, on its face, clearly wrong since there is no definition of the term "high crimes and misdemeanors" and previous impeachment proceedings have been based on obstruction of Congress and abuse of office.

The only conclusion I can reach is that Blakeman is such a bad lawyer that he doesn't even understand the commonly used legal phrase "on their face."
