Parmas seemed to be minimizing the stalking of the Ambassador? He didn't want to be involved in any serious crimes like threatening a US Ambassador. She has already said that she felt threatened and was told to get the next plane out of Ukraine.

Also, in my opinion, Parmas seemed like he did not want to say anything bad about John Bolton. He told Anderson Cooper that most of the dots could be tied together with what he knows from being on the ground and what John Bolton knows from being in Washington. That sounded a little self-serving, I thought.
