We had two, but Walmart came in and now that’s all we have. Because I’m on chemo, the doctor suggested home delivery. Halfway through my order the other night the site shut down. The next morning I was able to order food, but it needed to be picked up today. Text messages came that each delivery would be set up in a certain parking space in the parking lot and the spaces will be numbered. My pick up time is three this afternoon. I am to call them five minutes before I will arrive at the store and they’ll put all of my things in that parking space. There is to be no human to human contact. I am just hoping that they have enough supplies to fill the order because the last time I had been in the store it was getting very slim. If this system works, I think it actually is very clever and maybe could be used elsewhere. I had intended to order one week at a time, but now I’m starting to hear paranoid cries of lack of fresh produce, bakery items, and other perishables, so I may just put another order in quickly and cook and freeze everything that I was going to make. Many of our Walmart employees are quite elderly and I think this is the reason that they fear the store itself my close.
