Except for your last assertion because I think he's too stupid to realize this is his Waterloo.

Throughout his life, Trump has survived and thrived(?) by bullshitting his way through the next fifteen minutes or crisis. It has always worked for him.

This time it won't but I don't think he can see far enough down the road to realize it.

Perhaps I'm wrong and maybe he does a plan to steer the country into the ditch and declare martial law to hold onto power. With this guy, anything could happen.
