I do the same thing with mike Malloy and Stephanie miller, NPR and a music show out east.

Frequently, the stream seems to want to go to stereo, 128kbps for a talk show. the files get pretty huge, for no good reason. 70 megs for 52kbps mono, so I would image 128k is somewhere in the 140~180 meg range, stereo 240~360 meg range.

I can store 40 minutes of good quality video in 360 meg.

For just talk, 32kbps is fine.
