Mar 2020

February 23, 2020. Never will forget that day. Got the WORSE - literally - stomach ache and upset in my life. Literally.

Will not tell to many additional details about that stomach ache except it felt like my stomach was falling out. Had a fever, took Tylenol (now I know that was the best thing ever to do - as I don't take Advil -- and normally take Aleve).

Took Tylenol but had a fever for 2-3 days. Never over 100.3. Took something else for the stomach issue. Stayed the entire weekend on the couch.

By Monday, called a friend at the dinner I attended on February 23, 2020. Asked did anyone get sick from the Salad - which was the only thing ate. Did not feel like eating anything else, left early. The friend said no, they did not hear anything. Thought it was the stomach flu and a bad case at that.

One week later, coming from Phoenix, at the airport going to the gate - had the worst feeling in my knee. Had not felt that unease in my knee since 35 years before - before my surgery. Felt like I was running out of breath and I was not walking fast. Had plenty of time to get to the gate. At least an hour before takeoff.

Took one more step on the uneasy and strange feeling knee --- and SNAP. Something snapped in the back of my leg. Felt like the muscle and it hurt. Screamed out and a lady ran up behind and asked if I needed security. Told her I needed a Wheelchair. Another guy came up and said he would help me get to a chair -- then left to go get a Airport attendant with a Wheelchair.

Could not move the leg forward or back. Could not walk on that leg at all without PAIN. A lot of PAIN. The gentlemen helped me to the Wheelchair - the Airport Attendant helped me to the plane - Hopped to Seat 23-C and all the same in reverse after landing. That was crazy.

Got home barely with a Lyft. Hopped in the house. Sat for hours and feel asleep. Woke up - went to Urgent Care - got a knee brace - sat for another weekend - got a ortho appointment - scheduled a MRI from the Dr. Wore the knee brace as I could not walk without it and crutches.

Then, still with all of this -- four days later had a breathing episode. Could not catch my breath at work, dry cough -- and on my way to the ER. Got an inhaler (p.s. no asthma history here), I.V., CT and discharged with fluid on the heart. Only a little fluid so....

Sat again for another weekend on the couch with the Inhaler. Knee was beginning feel better. No more crutches. Small hop and could bare weight on it. Another day, the knee brace came off and the knee felt like the airport incident was an out-of-body experience because the knee was fine.

So, here what is strange.

Spouse got the Strange "Stomach Flu" the next day after mines. Three of his co-workers also.

Talked to two close friends (who I had no physical contact with all of the time above) in the last two days. They had the Strange "Stomach Flu" too. One friend Boyfriend got it right after she got it. The other friend - two of her Co-Workers got what she had.

With COVID-19 -- their are other symptoms besides - Respiratory Distress -- with lucky for me - I did not have. Just a strange breathing and coughing episode. They include....

Fever, Severe Stomach Upset, Joint Pains with the other symptoms in full or partial like the breathing episode, possibly -- based on hours and hours of international research with China and Italy news resources.

If we had it (the Spouse and I) we got lucky. The spouse has a pre-existing condition that's in remission (over 20 years) that is lung related. If we had it, our daily supplements Turmeric, Flaxseed and Black Seed Oil - might be the only thing that saved us from the worst aspects of COVID-19. And taking the Tylenol with the fever.

WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT NOT TESTING EVERYONE? We know, not enough tests. But that is because of TRUMP the Psychopath. However, IF WE HAD IT, we would GLADLY give our blood that might have antibodies that could be cloned to save someone else.

God Help Us All!
