That the comorbidity rate is so high for those who die from COVID-19 fuels the question.

Take my mother. She died of a respiratory infection. Probably the flu. Without the flu she'd have lived. On the other hand, if she had the flu when a second thing hit, they would have said ... Flu? The other thing?

It's like a tied basketball game. The guy who scores the tie-breaker gets all the credit. The previous 90 points don't count, but without any of those there wouldn't have been a tie. Human cognition.

It's shared responsibility.
