Intelligence, compassion, and work ethic should be prerequisites for public office. Governor Whitmer should not be an outlier - but here we are. This is what happens when every office is up for public vote (including the judiciary). This is how the owner of the local car dealership ends up making life and death decisions. Ridiculous.
