Hope you are right, and I suspect so. Correlation does not prove causation, at least not necessarily.
Just thought of it more as a coincidence, quirky.

More likely new york city's high population density of 25,000 people per square mile.

More people live in new york city (8 million) than in the combined population of the 7 states of montana, both dakotas, wyoming, alaska, idaho, and vermont.
