68. This same verbiage went on during Shays' Rebellion. And the Whiskey Rebellion, too.

It's part of our history. Part of US. Washington himself led the militia putting down the Whiskey Rebellion.

I find myself supporting Washington and Madison. Hamilton, even. Odd... for me, anyway.

You're supporting Jefferson.

I do think that while Jefferson thought a little rebellion was good for the country, he'd be amazed at how far we've come... and how low we've sunk. Jefferson would have freaked out at some creature like trump in the WH.

Are you saying that the various state governments should do nothing to discourage armed protesters taking over government buildings and interfering in government business...including the legislature?
