for too long a time.
We basked in the warm golden sunshine of American greatness wishing the world could have even a little taste of the American Way.
Mentally and/or physically we grew fat, lazy, apathetic; most of America sat around waiting for all the benefits that this country bestows upon them.
I believed it was so good I went out and bought a pair of rose-colored spectacles. I believed in Santa!
Then...this old guy stroked his white beard, sat back in his chair and grew up, finally maturing.
