20. "Obamagate" is Trump's weird way of shielding himself against prosecution after he leaves office.

Using Trump's typically tortured logic, he probably believes if the DOJ launches a criminal investigation into Obama's actions as president, and Democrats object publicly that it's just "a political vendetta," Trump will then be able to claim any crminal investigation into his own shady activities is also political payback.
