It is an American treasure so I would like to see it get out to as many people as possible.

I am interested to see how well it will translate to the screen. I think a lot depends on how they use the cameras. Oftentimes, directors of such productions try to use too much camera movement in a misguided effort to compensate for what is thought of as a static stage presentation. It's meant to be seen from the front so I hope they keep it simple and avoid the swooping shots and quick cuts.

I wonder if it will ever be made into a truly theatrical movie like Chicago. It would be risky but potentially great. They are already coming out with a theatrical version of "In The Heights" later this year so there is precedent. Looking forward to that one too.
