Sekulow: Trump should be above the law bc having to hire a lawyer is an undue burden. [View all]
https://www.rawstory.com/2020/05/justice-kagan-thumps-sekulows-immunity-claim-in-trump-tax-case-the-president-isnt-above-the-law/Sekulow countered with the argument that hiring counsel to fight subpoenas “would raise a serious impact on the president’s Article II functions.” The attorney called on the court to “categorically” strike down the ability to subpoena the president.
Imagine being so holed up in your job that you don't even have the time to hire a lawyer!
