Dear Sir,
I am no one in particular, I know my politics, I know my life. And I would like to share a personal feeling to you given those facts.

I watched you speak yesterday, I have seen and read your tweets these past few weeks. Quite frankly, they lifted me up. Even made me smile on some political websites I visit.

I understand that there are certain unwritten rules given your former position. I would offer that your position as an American is still fully intact.

Sir, I needed to hear your words yesterday, as I am sure many did.

I, as an equal American to yourself, will be selfish in my request. I need to hear sanity and compassion regularly. I ask, and even a bit of beg you,, please do not be silent. I need to hear you, America needs to hear you. Please use your position as an American and continue on your current path.

There more than a few of us who NEED it.
