been intensively studied by people who write whole books on what research has identified and then followups on new research.

Of course the old "tell a lie often enough and people will believe it" is proven valid, but it doesn't follow that channeling everyone who want to hear those those lies away from truth to sites that purvey only lies is a good way to combat this technique.

NBC didn't do so good here, prompting this reminder of how it should be done:



NEVER start a refutation by repeating the lie. Start by stating the truth.
