(8,311 posts)... had me, specifically, in her list of ex-patients specifically for her homemade cloth masks.
Now, if a person is already wearing an oxygen mask, that should qualify for mask purposes -- and it's not that hard for people who use oxygen to get around to switch from a cannula to a mask style. About the only "respiratory distress" that's gonna be exacerbated by a mask is the kind that requires oxygen/nebulizer/a puffer.
Still, they very politely offered to personally shop for her for no additional charge if they did not wish to wear a mask, and her objection was that what she wanted to get was "private". Girl, the checker would see it if you came out of the store -- nothing is "private", and retail people have seen it all, they do not CARE!
