(31,261 posts)30. I went to Walmart today to buy a power strip.
On my way out the store a guy standing at the door raised his hand. I thought he was motioning toward me, so I slowed as I approached him. But he looked at something, took it in his hand and clicked it as I passed. I don't know exactly what was happening, but he was taking a count of something. I had on a mask. It wasn't until a while later did I realized that I noticed a person at the opposite exit (near where I entered the store) doing something on the exit of that end of the store.
I had to follow the signs on the floor, and I got my power strip. Of course, I didn't need a toaster, so that's that.
