23. When Hayes first covered it major outlets

with credible journalists were also covering it.

He had on iirc Rebecca Traister who also is a solid journalists who also was meek about the inconsistencies.

I'm giving them somewhat of a break for this reason: I think alot of these progressive journalists like Hayes, Traister and even Joy Reed - got caught in a moral dilemma, torn between desire to 'take women seriously' and their natural liberal leanings (to support Biden). These are Gen-Xers who grew up during the Anita Hill hearings, the Clinton scandals etc and I think are torn on this.

I (also a Gen-X'er, man of color) personally have always had issues with MeToo in that yes there has been a long history of abuse baked into our culture against women - and we need to take allegations seriously - but they have to be credible allegations and we can't just 'believe everyone' who comes forward. Because that opens us up to serious ratfucking which is what I believe this Reade thing is - the GOP/Russia/Alt-Left attempting to ratfuck Biden/Dems and get Trump reelected (same thing I always felt about the Clinton scandals, were GOP hit jobs to 'kill Bill' lol.)
