(11,730 posts)It is difficult to have any sympathy or empathy for him because he is so destructive to others, but you can see that there is no real joy, or love, or anything that a "normal" (I don't like the word) person experiences.
I have never seen him having a belly laugh, you know, where your eyes scrunch up so tight that they tear. Where you might pee your pants. You know why? Because you are vulnerable then, you don't have complete control of your body and image.
I have seen President Obama do it. I have seen Both Hillary and President Clinton doing it. Trump, never. He can't. His range of emotions is completely stilted.
I have never seen him cry. Seen the above people do it or at leas tear up. Shit I get emotional watching Toy Story with my kids and I grew up in a household where boys were not supposed to cry!
The only thing that Trump has expressed is anger which serves a purpose, but is so corrosive to the human psyche when left to linger. He feels safe with anger because he thinks it is a "strong" emotion, but it isn't. It is an emotion born out of fear and disgust. It is complex, and as I said, when "righteous" like being angry at injustice, it can serve as a fuel for action. But it is toxic and will burn up its host if not put into positive action and then let go. Trump, that is all he has.
It must be hellish to be Trump, but like I said, I cannot feel for him because he is making the rest of us live through his hell too.
