(1,336 posts)35. It's easy to throw a word like "socialist" into the official name
of a political party. To Germans at the time, socialist and workers seemed to signify that the Party represented the interests of the working class.
Now let's equate that name with the "Republican Party" or what's become of it -- for the Repubs in the Senate and the House, and certainly the White House, it's beginning to sound more like the Trump as Dictator Party.
