12. I am over-the-moon exuberant about this!

Maybe it’s because there has been so little joy lately. Or maybe it’s because it’s a 6-3 decision and that gives me hope that our Supreme Court hasn’t been completely destroyed.

Read the opinion, or at least the summary at the beginning. There is SO much there to make you smile, and cry.

This decision is right up there with the legalization of gay marriage. I say this as a straight white woman, with nothing personal at stake. This is major. Especially right now.
