1. I think a few lines were wrong so I fixed them

"In a statement, Dole rejected closing, citing conversations with county health officials that “the plant is not likely the source of transmission and closure is not warranted.”"

I translated the above statement out of its current language, bullshiteez, which can sometimes be a tough dialect to learn:

"In a statement, Dole rejected common sense, scientific evidence as well as the general welfare of their employees and community. They cited conversations with Republican state officials and then released the following statement, "It is not likely we will suffer any real consequences for staying open because we know the GOP always puts profits before people."

Sad but true.
