about being a reporter whilst covering Trump. The self-justifying/excusing was applied thickly and uniformly. Even a crap-load of self-congratulating about how the media was doing a better job than they did in 2016 and was no longer falling into the same traps they did then.

The lack of insight was fucking Trumpian. I hate this motherfucker and I hate NBC/etc for putting him in air.
