The ones that will be effective are the ones that nonchalantly treat him as a nobody. Nobody to take seriously, nobody to fear.

Taking the sort of things he did at the debates with Hillary, and without any comment on how she handled them, the thought that came to my mind (from my comfortable, under-no-pressure chair) were...

When he loomed: "Donnie, if you're going to stand back there huffing and puffing...
... could you at least do it a little closer? I think my jacket has a wrinkle that needs steaming out."


For some of his other antics: briefly pause in the middle of your talk, nonchalantly turn toward him and in a calm, curious voice ask "Donnie, what are you doing to that chair?" And then, without even waiting for an answer, turn back and pick up where you left off.
