If the frackers pollute the groundwater their farms become useless, and communities will be forced to build very expensive water treatment plants to remove the toxins.

The potential dangers of fracking are well recognized here.

Unfortunately the state is highly dependent on natural gas which supplies about 40% of our electric power, including backup power for solar and wind energy schemes.

Biden is correct. We can't simply ban fracking before alternatives are established.

Alas, carbon free energy sources are not going to replace fossil fuels by the magic hand of free markets.

Too many people haven't yet realized we are stealing from future generations when we burn fossil fuels.
