A FB "friend" said that, and I asked, "Isn't it hard to believe that only Donald Trump is telling you the truth, and that every other person is lying to you? That must be very difficult."

I think we need to keep challenging them-- not the facts, not evidence, but just the reality. "Trump says everyone else is lying. Do you believe that? Isn't it hard to live thinking that your friends and your doctor and the newspaper and everyone but Trump is lying to you? That only Trump of all the people in the world is telling you the truth?

And isn't it hard to give your utter loyalty to him when he says that means believing everyone else is evil? How do you manage that? Do you have to turn your back on your children who vote Democrat? Your doctor who says Covid is real? "

That's actually the alternate universe they're choosing to live in, where only Trump matters and only Trump is the truth.

(And of course, they know he's lying to them... they just don't care, or maybe they want to be lied to.)
