When you've had something as long as us white men have it becomes a fixture that we don't even notice until someone else wants something like it. Then the zero sum mentality comes to play; if you get some of what I've got it MUST be taken from me, right? They, we, don't understand how everyone having what they, we, have everyone has more of it. Including them, us.
