My anti war doctor wrote a letter for me too. He said my genuinely just high enough blood pressure was likely due to soon to be fatal kidney disease, and my blood test was consistent, thanks to sophisticated Dr House like knowledge of a peculiar non detectable supplement consistent with that. But the examining doctor was a very cynical man. He read the letter, looked at me, and said, kid, this isn’t going to work for you. I had to use my own extensive research reading papers at the medical school library to know non detectable ways to keep my blood pressure at its true just barely high enough level despite the tricks I knew they would use against me to get it as low as possible. The examining doctors literally laughed at our doctor letters.
