...because, although I doubt it will do much to affect True Believers, if it gets enough media play, it could well have an effect on those few "undecideds" still possibly leaning in Trump's direction because "until this virus came along, the economy was great." And it might even make a difference to those in his base who had a close family member die from COVID-19, but who was inclined to excuse Trump because "no one could have stopped it" and "he did the best he could with the information we had at the time."
