likely ignore traffic notices such as the mandatory stop sign with the notice "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop"

I mean, did you ever see a warning on the cross-traffic side that noted WARNING, IDIOTS RANDOMLY PULLING OUT AHEAD? Perhaps a notice lowering the speed or a simple sign indicating there's a street on the left and/or right. Maybe even, a HIDDEN DRIVE. I remember as a kid really trying to find one! LOL! I really don't think many drivers today take any specific precautions for THAT hazard.
