1. I don't know that a talk is possible

I don't know that a "talk" is possible within the country that has been so thoroughly betrayed and brought close to chaos. In order to have a talk both sides have to be willing to listen.

What is needed is a really good lesson in the importance and rewards of good governance. Biden and his administration face the huge task of bringing the Federal government back under the control of it's citizens. Within 4 years they have to show that the government works for ALL, or at least most, of the people. What a job that is going to be.

On the one hand that sounds really daunting. On the other hand, what a great and exciting goal. The opportunities for doing really good work and making important changes are endless. Please, let it be so. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'm truly hoping that we, as a country, just needed this huge bump in the road to set us on our proper course again.
