If there's one thing this administration has brought to light it's the need for mental health care. The Reagan administration and the Congress of the day repealed most of the landmark Mental Health Systems Act in 1981. Communities were no longer able to provide the kind of mental health care needed due to lack of funding.
If that hadn't happened our country could look a lot different today.
