People think that cats don't love their humans because they're so much more independent than dogs, but they know they are loved and they give love in return, in their way. I've been ill for the past year, so I haven't been able to take care of a pet, but I'll be going home from the hospital soon and I'm going to get another cat. Dogs are too needy, IMO. They're mostly sweet animals, but I prefer the temperament of a cat.
