I think some publications, including the NYT and AXIOS, are getting cold feet about Trump going away because he's been so good for subscriptions, clicks and ratings. They are lightly pushing conspiracy theories, pointing out Biden's faults, getting back to business as usual, and forgetting that our Democracy is in peril. I'm disconnecting from MSM for the most part, reading my news here, following worthwhile links, and waiting for Election Day.
