49. From a former student...

Two people sent me this cartoon they found on the internet during the fracas in Madison, WI last year. Then the student(from 26 years ago!) contacted me to tell me he had posted this on the net.

Google "Mr. Patterson" by John Porcellino

This made my whole career worthwhile. We teachers do not do it for the money. We do it to make a difference.

Congratulations, Are_grits_groceries. You really did make a wonderful difference. It's great to get feedback like this letter.
