my name is mo, short for maureen, the gaelic form of mary.
i am the mother of 5 adult children.
my grandparents came here in steerage. famine refugees.
but back in ireland the mc cahills were a powerful family.
i grew up poor, but i am a rich old lady now.
because that is what i come from.

i will add here- kid 1- chemical engineer. kid 2- phd in theoretical math. kid 3-gm of a restaurant. she started out as a server 10 yrs ago. kid 4- drummer extraordinaire. kid 5- sick af, but amazing artist anyway.

i was a full time mom for 20 yrs. married a college kid who was studying those new fangled computer things. went on to be the vp of computer architecture at a financial exchange. marriage lasted 30 yrs.
when we split, i was left w a few million. i have doubled that in the 6 yrs since.
and about to double it again.

and yeah, i dont apologize for any of that shit.
