I almost always have to give up on American series because after a while they just get stupid. Just how they get stupid varies by the series, but it makes me crazy. I think the underlying problem is that there's a pretty strict formula out there for these things, and no room for any deviation.

The state of Michigan doesn't certify until Monday, 11/23 when the Board of State Canvassers meets.
