If there are state crimes, which there obviously will be, the the DOJ via SNDY (and EDV, et al) will be pursuing them.

Could you clarify what you mean by this?

SDNY does not investigate or prosecute state crimes. When Trump is pardoned by Pence (or by himself, assuming it holds up), he will have no Federal legal liabilities. SDNY is Federal.
