(2,957 posts)That comment is: Just stop it. This is beneath us. If a RW'er makes any comment even close to this about any females on our side of the values proposition, we take umbrage and become unhinged with rage. And, rightly so.
Therefore, we shouldn't embrace it and promote it either - even if directed at destructive, heartless right-wing doofuses. (Or is it doofi?)
As mad as some of Melania's actions have made me (the I Don't Care jacket she wore when flying to a children's center, her tone deafness about immigration and her husband's "support" of women's rights, etc.) I still see her as a victim of Trump. She clearly hates him to death as evidenced by her not-so-subtle body language at joint public appearances and the fact that his extra-marital "dalliances" are plural and public knowledge.
I'm all in favor of brutal, nasty, profane, morally reprehensible, embarrassing, denigrating and shocking adjectives to assign to these lunatics. But expressions of denigration that apply to gender or gender stereotypes should be something we libs ought to banish from our anger toolbox. Using these expressions is a commission of hypocrisy on our part. We can't give the right wing any tools to use against us.
