18. I wouldn't say happily at least when it comes to Romney

I remember Republicans in the 2012 primary said specifically that they didn't like Romney but voted for him because they said he had the best chance of beating Obama. Romney also would change his positions from the primary to general election.

They also didn't like McCain that much. They picked Palin for the GOP base. McCain wanted somebody like Lieberman but that would have angered them even though Democrats didn't like Lieberman that much either.
