2) There is no credible evidence that it is anything but water and, that it does any of the things it is claimed to do
No, I have not interviewed any homeopaths or studied their case histories and have no desire of doing so. Such is entirely unnecessary on my part because there are many, more qualified individuals ready and able to do so, and, have done so. As for studying it, I, as a science literate layperson, have read much on the topic from trustworthy sources, both on the topic of homeopathy and alternative medicine in general, and have a pretty good BS detector if I may say so myself.
Put simply, homeopathy is BS pure and simple. I repeat, it is irrational to believe something is factual in the complete absence of credible theory and scientific data.
IMO alternative medicine in general is one of the great frauds of modern times - and worse still, fraud used to be illegal but when it comes to alternative medicine law enforcement unfortunately tends to look the other way. This I believe is due mainly to a science illiterate populace which affects the entire judicial system from plaintiffs to politicians/law makers to prosecutors to lawyers to judges to juries (but that's another weighty topic). Just look at the number of folks that continue to support Donald Trump to get a gauge of the lack of mental acuity and critical thinking skills we see today.
OK, dismounting soap-box - no more from me on the subject...
