Anyone else think a lot of Republicans believe that Democrats should be killed?

I don't think anywhere near that many GOPers believe that. There are exceptions, of course, but I think many are just childish dopes who go along with whatever they're fed and think it's cool to act tough.

We're seeing that with many of the insurrectionists. As soon as they were busted, they bailed on the tough-guy nonsense and said they were just "caught up in the moment". If they really believed all the nonsense, they'd stick to their guns (pun intended) and not back down in the face of real opposition. Instead, they're cowering behind their attorneys or their eight kids.

Same thing with Congress. Most of the GOP Senators bailed on the "overturn the election" garbage the night of the insurrection because it was no longer just a big game. The ones who didn't are just grandstanding idiots like Hawley.

The GOP House is another story, but most of them don't believe the BS either. They just know what their constituents want them to say.

Again, there are certainly exceptions but I don't think the average voter believes that even if they say they do.
