...that manner tends to include stretching the meanings behind opponents words, omission, avoidance etc. But there has always been some semblance of truth behind the thoughts and ideas.

However, and in 2012, I am not blind to the manner in which Romney has completely devolved the political conversation to outright and neverending lies. I honestly think he has set the bar so very low that he will have tainted the Republican image (to their own constituency), for several presidencies to come.
