This is the kind of careful crafting of messaging the Dems need to work on. Good article by Stacy Abrams in this last Sunday's NYT that talks about being thoughtfully suigeneris in campaign approach, customized by locale and audience. Dem policy speak from DC and the coast sounds off I think in much of the south and heartland and hence our difficulties in flipping more states even though the majority in those locales would benefit more longer term from Dem vs Repub policies.
