I think one of the reasons McCaskill lost to that total jackass Hawley is that she spent her time bashing "the left" and telling rural Missouri that she was "kinda republican". She ran to the right, instead of informing rural Missouri of the good done by the ACA, the benefits of having a Democratic government. People (even the ones not brainwashed by rightwing radio and TV) will vote for a real republicon over someone saying "i'm kinda like them I'm not so bad". She should have run as a proud liberal democrat.
That's how Sinema strikes me. She should be aggressively and proudly promoting Democratic philosophy and helping continue moving Arizona from purple to blue. But she seems to be doing that "I'm not much different, and sometimes just like, republicons". I think it's a mistake.
