And these so-called Democratic "consultants" have been peddling that same line of thought for over 10 years now.

That's why Democrats lost the House in 2010 and ultimately the Senate in 2014. Plus it escalates from there - Obama's Supreme Court pick and plenty of judicial nominees blocked because of it. Democrats lost like 1,000 state legislative seats and were the victims of supreme gerrymandering because of losing so many seats.

I don't know how those consultants keep getting hired. They advised Dems to run from Obama in 2010 and 2014. They told McCaskill to distance herself in Missouri. They told Kay Hagan to not mention Obama's name in NC. And on and on and on. When will Democrats wise up and say, "Enough."

I always bring up one of my favorite quotes from Alan Grayson in Florida about this kind of stuff: "You can't beat a Republican by trying to BE one."
