26. I don't think there's any question that misogyny was involved

He blames the women (who he murdered) for tempting him, seducing him into behavior he wanted to stop. As if he had no agency to stop himself.

Women as the seductress, the seducer, the temptress, yada, yada is the excuse. That and having a bad day.

Clearly, this young man had problems with women, so severe he decided murdering them was a solution because they were making him to do 'bad things'.

If he came from a strict religious back ground where sex is blasted day after day as sinful and ugly, then that would only increase the tension and boil over in an unstable mind.

Victimization on steroids. Violence and death is frequently the end note.
