The question of whether racism was the motive.

This incident is horrifying on its own, but it is also likely an indicator of a societal problem of misogyny and sexism. That needs to be addressed, just as George Floyd’s murder is not an isolated event.

I’m glad to see that Chris Hayes’s guests and he are discussing this and intersectionality now.

I would also like the media to stop appearing to presume that Asian American spas are engaging in prostitution.
