(14,697 posts)40. A vaccination "passport" is actually being considered...
Health experts are saying it will be both physical and and encrypted digital (which will be much more difficult to forge). They stress it will not be gov't issued, but a private, possibly non-profit, effort.
They also stress it must be FREE, easy to obtain for the elderly or poor, and private.
They see it being used to travel outside the country, attend certain events which will have a lot of people in close proximity, or other anti-spreader uses.
At least they are "thinking" of how it should be done. Some repug politician will likely see it another way.
